Apart from "out of storage", another one to watch is "ideal for historic racing" which nearly always translates as a car which is either cosmetically poor or one that has bad rust problems but good mechanicals. This approach is the reverse of American policy, which from what I see on eBay, is rarely as opaque as the English auction world. Maybe that"s litigation driven. Espadas do not fare well on the auction circuit here: a clean, up and running white S2 made just 5k gbp recently - it seems noone wants them :-( Ciao Clive --- In VintageLambo@yahoogroups.com, "lamboguy " wrote: > --- In VintageLambo@yahoogroups.com, "badsaddle " > wrote: > > > > The key Fred to the price is in the description: "out of storage" > > > > Which is Coys auction code for no brakes, no clutch and > > countless other glitches that occur when a car is stored. > > LOL!I see.Not an auction follower, I see "out of storage" > as "hey, perfect condition! They must have fully restored it, then > carefully (and correctly) put the car in storage to make sure it > stays perfect." > > Needless to say, seems that"s not the case... > > Cheers, > > Fred
