Body of Message

High Nash, one of the reasons I didn"t try to rebuild my Girling was lack of parts availability. I asked White Post how they plan to do it, and they use an overbore, with a seal to fit. The short answer is I don"t know if the seal is available, or what the condition of the shaft is. Please be careful in this regard, a failed master is a bad type of failure. The seal needs to be perfect, and the shaft as well. I have mentioned before, the way to avoid problems in this area is to use a very low hydroscopic fluid. I use ATE super blue racing and drive the car as soon as you can, and often. While you"re messing in the brake area, I recommend you remove the boosters, and shake them, they"ll likely be full of fluid. Under those boosters is the vacuum accumulator tank. It will also have fluid in it. Drain all the fluid and check all the vacuum lines for leaks. I just finished my brake refurb and am very happy with the results. If you need any more info contact me off list.
