FWIW, the two times I"ve driven a Countach were 2 of the highlights of my life. The first was a 5000S, and it was a great machine at every level.I remember thinking it had the acceleration of my GTX, and the brakes and handling of a Porsche. The fact that it stopped everybody mid-step was cool too, but I was young then! The second was David"s LP400, and I felt like Bob Wallace in that great photo with the driver"s suit on.It"s really a small car, but I actually fit, and it"s simply a fabulous drive.Very revy (nice having to keep the revs over 3500 -- that was fun!), and very much a unique overall sensation.Pulling into the gas station and getting out of the car, I felt like Buzz Aldrin getting out of the Apollo module.:)It"s a peak life experience. I never got the same sensation with the 400, which is certainly not a knock. But the Countach is just out of this world. You feel like part of the machine, and like part of the insane side of Lamborghini. You know... there"s the businessman"s side of Ferruccio, then there"s the racing side of Wallace. The Countach really brings on the racing side, PLUS pushing the boundaries of car design to the max at every level. It"s really out of this world. Cheers, Fred Buy Ink Cartridges or Refill Kits for Your HP, Epson, Canon or Lexmark Printer at Myinks.com.
