Hi Jack The links below are the only two handbrake arms I have and to be honest I dont think either of them looks like the picture in the 400GT parts manual. You will have to have a look at the picture and let me know. Having seen the actual item you will know what it should look like. http://www.lambolist.com/cache/item-500public.html?cache=no http://www.lambolist.com/cache/item-501public.html?cache=no Best regards, Darren Mitchell Tel: 0438 282 515 Web: www.lambolist.com Email: darren@lambolist.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Jack Riddell To: VintageLambo@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 9:21 AM Subject: Re: [VintageLambo] Espada 2 handbrake gaiter... Hi Steve, I am not familiar with the the term gaiter. Is it the sheet metal that provides the pivot? I too am looking for a handbrake for my 400GT. It broke some teeth on the part that creates a ratchet lock when you pull the lever. I managed to make it work by doing some creative grinding but I really need a new/replacement assembly (Darren, Jacques?). Best Regards, Jack plumpcars wrote: Is anybody please able to tell me if the gaiter around the handbrake lever in an Espada 2 is shared with any other manufacturer, or is it a Lamborghini only part? The Lamborghini part no. is:3305468. Thank you Steve.UK. . . |
