Hi Stephen, A few of areas you might look at. Several places that are susceptible to rust come to mind. Open the doors and inspect the bottom for signs of rot, likewise the area in the wheel wells where the tires toss the wet stuff and chemicals, usually around the curve and just below it. Pull the spare and check the condition of the spare well. Also the battery area and the area on the other side where the brake boosters are mounted. I don"t know how thorough your inspector was, but these are sometimes overlooked. Looking at Glen"s Lamborghiniregistry.com, I note that your car is red with a tan interior and owner is shown as Mark Hyman. Maybe Glen knows more about it. Once you have the title, you can send for a build sheet from the factory and get a little more information. I believe you can still get the took kit but they are very expensive these days (or are you only interested in the bag?). Inspection comes back very good with some minor paint flaws, needing new foot well carpets and new stuffing in the driver"s seat.Other than that, things seems to check out. Also, it"s missing it"s tools. So, before I take the plunge, any comments from you distinguished panel of experts? How can I secure a used or replica tool bag? Any comments appreciated, especially if they are about this specific car. Thanks Stephen |
