2000 RHD Diablo 6.0
Chassis Number YLA12558 is this Australia market Nero Pegaso car with Grigio with Rosso piped Leather interior, .
Other Information: Production #2558 delivered to Monarch Motors, Australia on 22nd September 2000. --------------- for sale on CollectingCars.com in July 2024, the advert read: This example was originally a New Zealand-delivered model, which was later imported to the UK. This Diablo VT 6.0 is one of just 343 examples produced between 2000 and 2001, and it is understood to be one of only 30 right-hand drive models built. Please note: the car suffered a battery-related engine bay fire in around September 2015, which caused limited smoke damage to the engine bay and rear nearside of the vehicle. This minor fire related to a common fault on the Diablo, where fuel lines run via the battery, and these fuel lines have now been re-routed so that this fault can never occur again. The car has undergone a comprehensive restoration leaving it in excellent condition. While awaiting replacement carbon-fibre panels, the previous owner, a fastidious collector, undertook a full engine rebuild and respray. The seller states that it must now be one of the best examples to come to market. The odometer shows just 18,330 Kms from new. The restoration work was carried out by the technicians at Hoyle-Fox Classics Limited under the watchful eye of Terry Hoyle. The restoration works has included: a full engine rebuild, a full respray, new rear brake pipes being fabricated, new engine mounts, four new shock absorber bushes and the left-hand throttle body being refurbished. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced in July 2015 at 16,724 km. Lancaster Sevenoaks Lamborghini carried out a service in February 2015 at 16,349 km. In May 2012 at 11,916 Kms, prior to the car’s arrival in the UK, technicians at Powerhaus Wellington Limited serviced both the clutch and flywheel, carried out an engine oil and filter change, flushed and renewed the power steering fluid and coolant, changed the transmission and differential oils, replaced all the drive belts, changed the spark plugs, replaced the fuel, air and cabin filters, fitted a new coil pack and sent the alloy wheels to Tyre Clinic for refurbishment.
