Production number 25147 In the same hands for nearly twenty years Body and mechanical restoration between 2002 and 2006 French car registration document This Lamborghini Islero S was produced in May 1969 and delivered on June 13, 1969, in Italy. It was then the 148th Islero produced. We know that it was registered in Venice, then in Treviso. In 1982, it is in the hands of Mr. Riccardo di Bello, still in Treviso. It was from this same Mr. di Bello that it was acquired by the family who still own it today. Thus, in 2002, a restoration began, carried out by a specialized workshop in Italy, the Officina Salvador Auto in Tiezzo. The bodywork was then stripped bare and the mechanics opened for repair, while most of the peripherals (water pump, alternator, starter motor were replaced or renovated). This work carried out between 2002 and 2006 is documented by photos and invoices. Since then, the Islero chassis 6450 was released on rare occasions and followed by a private mechanic. Today, the Lamborghini presents a very nice general condition. The bodywork restored nearly fifteen years ago still looks very good, the paint is well stretched and the alignments are good. The mechanics are in good working order, the engine starts and runs well, the revs are good, and the dashboard gauges indicate a good behavior of the mechanics, both in terms of oil pressure and temperature. The passenger compartment has been largely preserved as original. The upholstery was treated to preserve the patina of the leather and velvet, the carpets were replaced during the restoration. The whole is thus in a very coherent state. From an electrical point of view, we noticed the good functioning of all the equipment, the headlights go up and down without any problem, as well as the electric windows. The odometer reads 62,500 kilometres, which, in view of the technical inspections carried out over the last ten years, suggests that the engine has not travelled more than 10,000 kilometres since it was rebuilt. The Lamborghini will be sold to its next owner with a file including restoration invoices, photos of the work done, its original libretto testifying to its past and various technical documents. .
